<p>I’m a University of Florida graduate and I’m inquiring about something an acquaintance asked me and I had no idea. He just finished his masters degree and is wanting a big name school to put on his resume. He knew I was from Florida so he asked me about a certificate course Florida offers. I had no idea so I checked it out on UF’s website and they do offer certificates. Before I tell him to go for it, I need to know if it is worth it. Does a certificate from UF carry any weight? I told him if he wants some thing bigger on his resume, then to go for his PHD or at least a EdS. But he said he only has the time and money for the certificate. So does anyone know how much weight this carries? Would it beef up his resume? Thanks for your help.</p>
