Post on hard to find plays

I searched on this but couldn’t find it, I swear I read a post on how to find hard to find plays. And I will be honest…by “hard to find” I mean we searched Amazon and the half priced book store and they didn’t have it.

Anyone remember this post? Or have any hints on how to find Under the Big Top by Emilio Iasiello. S emailed the author but it came back undeliverable.

Did you try calling The Drama Book Shop in NYC (800) 322-0595 They seemed to have every play under the sun last time we stopped in and I know they ship purchases pretty quickly. Good luck, finding (less common) monologues was DDs biggest challenge.

Thanks! I think that was mentioned in that post…or I had a dream about this LOL

Anyone in the Washington DC area should try the American Backstage Company in Alexandria, 703-212-8982. It’s mostly a costume store but they also have a huge selection of theater books and plays.

Try contacting his publisher, they might have a current email for the author or could provide more info -

Thanks DramaMamaZ it worked! S received an email this AM from the author, he’s going to send him the play.

:) Glad it worked!
