The “prom mom” has assigned me with the task of putting together a large “snack basket” for the rides after prom (the gang is going midnight bowling first, then home). What kind of snacks or other fun things (after plunking down for that dress I am pretty sure silly string is out) do you think would be fitting to put in the basket? All ideas are welcome!!

Oh darn - I wanted to put this in the cafe instead - oops. Could someone move this for me?? sorry!

Snack basket for rides after prom?? Prom keeps getting more and more convoluted every day.

I would get snacks that aren’t messy or could leave grease stains on lovely prom clothes.

If you can have it chilled a little - string cheese is good, a little protein lift always helps. The kids seem to like it.

100 cal snack packs or similar have individual serving sizes of cookies and crackers.

Baggies of trail mix.

Sounds silly - but the kids really liked the little juice boxes when we used them for a post recital drink. "Reminders of being a little kid "

Water bottles.

One of my daughters had an entire drink spilled down her dress (by her date!) on the way TO the prom. The dress was ruined and the evening wasn’t much better. So I second the water idea.
