post-undergraduate gap year

so I’m the most exhausted I will ever be my fourth year, and I’m trying to manage all my ambitions, organisational commitments and so forth I haven’t even applied for the financial waivers for the tests that I will be taking (since I am a low-income student). Is it advisable to wait till the next cycle to apply?

I do not really want to do hardcore applications in my fourth year. I mean preferably I’ll stick around for research or find an internship the following summer or find something academically productive – but of course what I can only speculate what I’ll be doing that 5th year instead.

Taking a gap year doing research work is a very common thing. It’s good for experience and the fact that you get one more year of grades on your transcripts which if you do well will improve your GPA.

I did it this past year; worked wonderfully.

Same here. It can only help you.
