<p>i dont get how AP scholar works…ive taken US History (4) Euro (5) Physics B (5)…shouldnt that mean i become an ap scholar? do they send a certificate later or something?</p>
<p>The OP asked about self-studying. Don’t even know if there is an Env Sci class at our kids’ school, son self-studied for it & says it was a “joke” for the AP. He did study a bit for US Gov, reviewing recent US Supreme Court cases, etc. Found both to be quite fine for self-study.</p>

<p>Pretty happy-- basically I didn’t have a teacher this year, and had a long term sub for like 3 months. I was expecting a 1 or 2. Will a 3 look bad-- I got a 750 on the SATII and an A- in the class?</p>

<p>Not all colleges will give you credit & waiver for a 3–many require a 4 & some require a 5 for credit and/or waiver. A 3 is good under the circumstances, but each college has its own policies about what scores are needed & whether they give students ANYTHING for taking AP exams (even when scoring 5s).</p>

I just knew I f-ed up statistics. But I was kind of hoping for a 4. Now I got make up for it by a getting a 5 in Ap Calc test. Arggh</p>
