Post your AP Scores! 2006

I did not “assume” she was female. I didn’t even think about gender when I typed “she.”

Now see… that’s WORSE! It’s gotten to the point where you’re not even realizing it, but you made an implicit assumption about “pikaso’s” teacher being female b/c in your mind you must have a skewed premise or generalization that all teachers (or most teachers) are female. I made sure to check “pikaso’s” post and there was no reference to gender whatsoever.

Haha, I hate to bust your chops about something so silly. It just gets on my nerves when people do what you’ve done, but to a higher (and more ignorant) degree.

Hmmm? It wouldn’t matter to whom? If you don’t give me a satisfactory response, then I’ll just “assume” you mean to say all female teachers are bad at preparing their students for college level work (if that’s what you mean by “in this case it wouldn’t matter.”) Care to say something valid in your defense for once? ;)

Well I won’t continue this stupid argument with you. I don’t care whether you think I “assumed” anything. I think the real issue is, you’re just trying to blame someone for your AP scores perhaps?

Haha, I’m totally fine with us discontinuing this little spat.

Just to let you know, I never even reached the point of blaming others about the Collegeboard’s major suckiness! I’m a mature person, so I honestly have just given up with harboring any emotions towards the CB whatsoever (let alone against random strangers on a silly forum). :P

So back to the original purpose of this thread:

CCers, so how 'bout those AP Scores?

Well the only way for him or her to be grammatically correct would be if he or she said “he or she,” and that’s a pain in the a** to read and write (as you might see).

AP US History: 5
AP Biology: 5
AP Chemistry: 5
AP Calculus BC: 5 (AB subscore: 5)
AP Computer Science AB: 5
AP Language: 4 <<< owned :(

AP World History: 5 (Sophomore year)

Well, trancestorm, pain in the @$$ or not, nonsexist writing is still important. Heck, I’m a guy and I still believe it’s right to advocate for gender respect here. It isn’t men who have been discriminated against in the past in a sexist manner (particularly in writing), but women. I think we should all be conscious of it (and not see it as a burden).

Btw, believe it or not, this is relevant in this thread (especially for those of you who “claim” to have achieved scores of 5 in AP USH / World / Euro. You ought to know especially what the plight of women has been and still is today).

and APDoolittle - why do you assume that only kids who achieved 5’s on their AP tests would be aware of the plight of women?

sorry, just pulling your tail a little :)

I’m just being a tad cynical here. Underlying my posts is a deep-seated mistrust of CCers and their AP scores claims. I only said that to satirize the hypocrisy that seems to exist on CC (i.e. kids that do “SO well” on AP history tests yet they seem as if they haven’t learned a thing from the past) - that sorta thing.

Now I don’t know if you wanna be pulling at a Tiger’s tail… it could be dangerous. ;)

GO PRINCETON CLASS OF '10!!! wOo0t!! :D

APDoolittle: so did you get your AP bio score yet?? :D

*& sorry for the little turmoil at the last page…
it’s just i was very dissapointed and furious that my teacher (a MAN teacher btw  ) actually PROMISED that we’ll do “fine” on the test because supposedly his class covered the AP Chem… Well it turns out I was the only “lucky” survivor who passed that test… so i guess i just took advantage of the anonymity of CC and discharge myself a little for the cruel fate of my friends? -.-“”

i didn’t get my AP scores, because my school was one of the TWO schools in the nation who’s tests got lost.

Hey pikaso, well congrats to you on being “the sole survivor.” Haha, so you DO have a male teacher. Now THAT’S all the more reason in favor of my argument with the ignorant people on CC. Anyway, enough of that; it’s history! ;)

:( Unfortunately, I STILL don’t have my AP Bio score. I’m hoping it’ll come before I start college. I’m DYING to know if I qualify for science credit or not!

Molly247, I’m sorry to hear that. :frowning: If it’s any consolation, I’m still waiting too (but I’m not that other school in the U.S. you mentioned). ;)

Yo APDoolittle, I hope to join ya there in 2 years ;)

im just curious. Which two schools in the nation did not recieve their student’s AP scores due to the test being lost?

I’m not sure. Our local newspaper said that it was ours and some school in South Carolina. It may have been more than two, that’s just what my mom told me that the school told her…

Calc AB-5
Spanish-3
Psych-4
English Comp.-5

US History: 5
English Lang/Comp: 5

does anyone know when collegeboard will post the 2006 score guidelines and grade distributions?

^ same question
