well, the thing is that actually i do live in eastern europe and no, not in russia but in estonia (probabaly you don’t know where it is, though…almost no one does). anyhow…at the time i was born it was a part of the soviet union. estonia was incorporated into the ussr in 1940, and regained its independence in 1991.</p>
<p>the reason why i sometimes visit this board is just because i somewhat dream of going to college in the us.</p>

well, i’ve been learning spanish for quite a long time (typically everyone has to learn three foreign languages at school - english, russian, german/french…there is no such subject as spanish). i also do a lot of stuff related to spanish…for example, i try to teach myself the history of latin america etc. then a hobby that i don’t like…linguistics…basically it’s like solving mathematical language problems using your logical thinking. the other hobbies i have at the moment are fairly traditional.</p>
