@nangkhieu I’m sure you can include comic books. They allow you to add any categories of your own. And there is really no point in putting in things that have a ‘literally value’ if you don’t like them 
On that note, my Why UChicago essay is around 700 words, but I’d really like some reviews on it. Can someone please read it over and critique it? I could pm the essay.

Heh guys, so what’s exactly is the borderline between gimmicky essays and creative essays? If my format is too strange, will the admission officers frown upon ir?
Does the format make it hard for someone to enjoy the essay?
This is the question to ask. If you’ve written the entire essay in Norse, or formatted it to make the text upside-down or backwards, the answer is likely yes. If you’re just using paragraphs and punctuation creatively, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Nothing special really but I’m just in the middle of writing my essay for UChicago and I just want to SOL (scream out loud) that I love the prompts so much!!! Apart from Stanford’s (rejected REA btw :P), UChicago’s essays are the ones I really had fun writing!!! I actually decided to apply because of the creative prompts, even before researching about the school (and after knowing more about UChicago, I fell deeper in love :"> )

I actually knew what to write, just couldn’t figure out how to write it. Or are you asking about the optional essay? I just started writing about all the things in those categories that I love, somehow reached 400 words.

Wow, HeToni! I wish you could meet my orchestra conductor. His thought and philosophy towards music could be described by this essay, really. After playing with him for two years, this fits him perfectly.
This is his last year conducting our youth orchestra, and it is kind of sad to see him going. Wherever you are now (I suppose you have moved beyond college) might have made this irrelevant, but I could not resist leaving this comment here for you.
