@CardinalSin2020 Do you want to swap essays? I finished 3 of them in 4 days (technically 4 nights, with school during the day and all that) so I’m worried that my essays are not up to UChicago’s standard

I feel like this thread is a time bomb waiting to explode. You should not be posting an essay for the whole internet to see. Even private messaging an essay seems pretty stupid.
As long as it’s bereft of any personally identifying details (or anything immediately recognizable as a specific person’s style), where’s the harm?

I don’t know… I really love the uchicago prompts and I wrote to maybe 3 of them? But I’m not really loving my responses… they just don’t feel good enough. 
I wrote to the square one, parts of a whole, and vestigial traits one. Hbu @WashUWishfuld ???

@WashUWishfuld Hmm, I’ve just stewed on the essays for a while during the summer, and then one day, I decided to just make a rd of any ideas I had and went off from there.

@marlorea I can read. They ask for no more than 500 for the first 2 essays and theres no limit for the uncommon
I’m sorry about this not being along the lines of post your essay, but I was wondering if any UChicago grads would be willing to look at my essay? I’m applying EA and UChicago is definitely one of my top two schools. I would really appreciate it if anyone could do that
