For 2012 I resolve to go to the gym more often and to be more timely with my business email responses.

This year I will finish what I set out to do.

I resolve to remain unresolved.

A variation on a cliche:

I resolve to go back to reading the “Weight Loss for Dummies” thread every day like I was doing in the summer, and to practicing again what I preached on that thread in the summer. That thread is like having a support group in my house. Since Halloween candy days, it has not been pretty around here! 5 lbs regained (out of 15+ lost) which is not cool. My “lose weight” resolutions always begin, tho, on Jan 2nd because on the 1st we host a First Day Brunch and low carb it usually ain’t. Really, it all boils down to resolving to making good/better choices. Happy New Year, everyone.

I resolve to breathe…and count to 10 before I speak with either of my kids…like right now

This year I fulfilled the remainder of my unfulfilled New Year’s Resolutions. I don’t see a reason to risk failure by making any new ones!

To finish what I started the latter half of 2011 (not a resolution) of making all important doctor’s appts for myself - the one person I never seem to find time to take care of - in 2011 I did my GYN physical and mammogram and dentist - need to continue with eye doc, general physical and colonoscopy in 2012!

Also, to be more efficient with my time at work.

i resolve to follow eptr’s lead!

Well since this has been a year with alot of eye opening events I have decided to make 2012 a year where the focus is on all of the things I have neglected to take care of. I plan to take care of all of the following.

1.Call the attorney and make changes to my Will
2.Take another exotic vacation and vow to do so every year
3.Spend less money for the kids
4.Spend more time with friends
5.Spend more time with extended family
6. Devote more time to my business
7. Redecorate a couple rooms in the house
8. Allow my daughter to feel the effects of what she has put forth.
9. Sell my house or get it into move in condition for sale by next year

I work well with lists…and hope this helps me to stay on track. There was some joy this year but also too much heartbreak and I would like to throw 2011 out the window. At midnight the windows will be open so the bad vibes can fly right out.

Enjoy the fruits of DW’s labor…
Enjoy life to its fullest extent, keeping an eye on retirement, but living life in our 50’s like we would if retired…
Continue to save to allow DD’s to attend any college they choose without incurring debt

Anything after that is a bonus…Happy New Year to all!!!

To stick to my exercise plan, adopt a sensible eating plan, and drop 25 - 30 lbs. In other words, to get my willpower to match my desire to be thin again - for both health and vanity reasons.

to continue on my journey to be healthy.
to clean out more rooms.
To remember to take the high road more often

S1 and S2 finished college and became fully employed this year. Phew-keeping 2 s’s in school/on track/etc. consumed more mental energy than I anticipated–esp. S2. I intend to enjoy 2012 before D is a hs jr–which I think is a very stress-filled year.

I would like to get rid of toxic people in my life. Won’t happen; a girl can dream.

Thinking seriously of selling my hard-to-rent rental. Will lose $, but save a lot of headaches.

finish my thesis and graduate degree

secure my fulltime job

try to get back in shape.

Get healthy overall. Focus on healthy eating and learning to manage PCOS and being insulin resistant (a new development). Go back to the nutritionist. Start going to the gym regularly. Start to manage my mental health issues and maybe (a big maybe) try acupuncture.

Stay in contact with my brother better. I feel guilty not talking to him a lot while deployed. Check up with him and hope for the ******* best.

Go through my closet ANC crap in general and figure out what to keep and what to give away. Condense everything into a more suitable arrangement in case our house sells.

Figure out my academic life. Research programs that interest me and take everything into consideration. Work on creating plan to transfer to a new school. Find a school that can help me fulfill my passion in television and media.

Write e-mails to the friend I had a huge fight with months ago. Apologize for my wrongdoing and to clean the air between us before it gets worse. E-mail the one professor I liked this semester and explain my situation and tell him how much he class convinced me to think about other options.

Get a job around town doing something I’ll like and enjoy. Save money.

“To remember to take the high road more often”

I’ve tried to do this over the past few years. I usually find the high road has far more washed out spots than the low one. But the views are memorable!

Take care if my health, my blood sugar us high and I need to do something about it.

Give my D more space

Re-learn french

Try to get to the gym more
Be more efficient with my time
Get more rest
Let more things roll off my back

Get 1/2 hour aerobic activity daily.
Do some stretching and strength training daily.
Write a will.

Thanks for the reminder, FallGirl and others.

Add to my list: revise our will.
