Not here, but DD is international so maybe that makes a difference.
We got something like that from Lawrenceville but not from Andover. I don’t think DS responded but he appreciated the gesture. I would probably suggest an email response that acknowledges similarities and says nice things about Andover and the visit/interview there and also asks relevant questions.
I got a postcard from Andover!! The girl was so sweet
My child also received a postcard, which was much appreciated, and responded along the lines of what @gungablue suggested.
