4-0 Giants. (The runs are steadily trickling in with Texas’ inability to pitch over the plate.) With such a cushion, I don’t believe The Beard is necessary.

Huff and The Hero score off Renteria’s two-run single! 6-0 Giants. I am absolutely elated!

Mifune, I find the enthusiasm in your posts very amusing. I’m glad you’re happy!

If I had gone to Las Vegas and wagered $100 that Renteria (who I criticized in Post #123) to have a three-RBI game, I’d be a millionaire.

EDIT: Two-run triple by Rowand. I am going completely ballistic! (8-0 Giants)

Double by Torres! 9-0 SF. The Giants are completely decimating Texas. To put things in perspective, Wilson departed a 1-0 game merely two innings previously.

I can’t wait to rub the Ranger’s loss in my acquaintance’s face tomorrow!

AT&T Park was amazingly (and justifiably) boisterous that previous inning. (I’ve been so mentally galvanized from this World Series that I haven’t slept in three days.)

Absolutely unbelievable. There’s just one thing I truly can’t stand: unnecessary walks and pitchers who cannot find the strike zone.

I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve such pain.

Oh, so are you supporting the Giants? (But just as a general suggestion, I would delay doing so until after San Francisco wins its fourth game of the series.)

Ahh, mifune, your posts compelling me to leave my research paper and watch this game!

But you’re right. I’ll wait.

Okay, so I really have to finish up this religion paper on the Holy Spirit…sooooo,
Mifune, I’m counting on you to keep me updated.

Giants overwhelmingly take Game 2 9-0. I will return to this discussion Saturday night (hopefully accompanied by some additional celebratory remarks).

I hope the Giants do win the Series. 56 years is a long time.

But Texas wouldn’t be the first team to come back from a 2-0 deficit. Remember the 1996 Yankees?

Great game by the Giants.

Oh, agreed.

Just a fantastic game. :)

Shades of Johnny Antonelli!

I don’t follow the Giants but I watch the World Series no matter who is playing.

For a team supposedly not known for their offense, these two games have been startling.
Can’t wait to see what happens when they get to Texas.

Of the previous fourteen teams that have begun the World Series with a 2-0 advantage, thirteen have proceeded to win.

So far so good, tonight. Rangers up 3-0.
