<p>Rangers! Rangers! I can’t believe we took two in Florida. All those years of suffering are paying off. But I do wish ds1 was here to share it. As it is, we’re texting and e-mailing about it all.</p>
<p>I am so surprised that the Rangers are overwhelming the Rays so far.
Guess I’ve been following only the east teams and hadn’t noticed how good the Texas has been this year.</p>
<p>It was so amazing to be at the Phillies game last night for the no hitter! I have tickets to Home Game 3 (whenever that may possibly be) for the NLCS and possibly game 7 of the World series!!</p>
<p>Diehard Cardinals fan here… I thoroughly enjoyed watching Halladay roast the Reds.</p>
<p>I’m impressed by the Texas team this year. They can give the Yanks a run for their money.</p>

<p>I’m watching my team (Cincinnati) for the first time in the playoffs since I was 6. I got HD cable just for the playoffs only to watch Halladay’s no-hitter, but honestly I’m just excited the Reds are relevant again!</p>

<p>I’m watching, but the closest thing I have to a dog in any of the fights is Joe Girardi. Word has it that he on the short list to be the new Cubs manager. </p>
<p>During the post season we Cub fans are waiting 'til next year. I am hoping for an NL championship.</p>

He is a local boy, did go to NU, did play for the Cubs, and was allowed to (and did) come to Chitown to talk to the PTB. He has openly said he would like to be the manager. His contract ends when the Yankees’ season ends.</p>
<p>I think he is one of four, along with Ryne Sandburg, Bob Brenley (sp?), and Mike Quade.</p>

He has been a different manager than Torre and I’m not sure if I would miss him with the Yankees or not.</p>
