Potential Awkward Situation with Teacher Recommendations

So I asked three teachers to write my recommendations, because there are three different recommendation forms from my schools that need to be filled out. This way each teacher only needs to fill out two different forms. However, when I matriculate somewhere one of the teachers will obviously be “left out” and realize that they didn’t write a recommendation for that school.

Have any past seniors done something like this before? How did it turn out?

I’ve done that. Honestly, they really won’t care that much. They may want to know if you got into the school they wrote a recommendation for, but other than that they won’t be offended if you don’t matriculate at that school.

I did the same thing because MIT required a math teacher, who I did not use for my others. It didn’t bother him one bit. Just be equally appreciative toward all of them, regardless of where you get in and where you go.
