I totally missed it. I was at a wine bar with no windows, by the time I left it had stopped raining. I was even able to get a cab.

DH said driving home last night was like driving through a car wash. Then we were invited to our neighbors for dinner, literally across the street, and I had to drive there.

Our power was out for about 4 hours last night, but it was back on by the time I got up. Now, if only we had not run out of coffee…

Well, we had lots of rain yesterday, but it is sunny today. I hope others are also seeing sun where there was rain.

We had a strong storm yesterday. The thunder was so loud I thought there had been an accident on the highway outside my office.

But we get strong storms frequently. No fun, but you get kinda used to it.

And today was a spectacular fall kind of day…cool, dry and sunny. LOVED it.

We went into NYC last night for dinner with my son’s college roommate and his family (and our boys also). Roommate is headed out to a big-deal military training thing next month – this was our chance to say “Goodbye. Good luck. Save the world. Be safe.”

Raining when we left, but had to just about swim home with flooded highways and more! Power has been out all day here and just came back on an hour ago.

Yup…power was out for about 15 hours. I can tell you what my front yard looks like…trees and limbs…trees and limbs.

It is Fall.

Cool, clear and dry today. Perfect for cleaning up the mess from yesterday’s storm.

True, emerald. But I fear payback could be more like Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr…
