Anyone buying tickets? I rarely do, but this time, I bought a few. Fantasies of winning - I’d be happy with one of the “smaller” prizes. $800 million or whatever it is going to be by tomorrow night is overwhelming.
No. But I appreciate everyone who does - lowers my taxes!
I bought three and I’ve already set up payouts to family members, based on a sliding scale.
I’m buying everyone a new car! I feel like Oprah.
I want to take our whole family (extended family) on the Disney Cruise.
I like the sliding scale payout idea too! 8->
You get a house, and you get a house!
Everyone gets a house!
I actually believe I am going to win something. Probably $4.
Hate to disappoint, but my coworkers and I bought a bunch of tickets and plan to win!
Plan all you want, but so did my H and his coworkers. We got that winning ticket right here.
Yes, I bought some. Enjoy fantasizing about how I would spend it.
Renovations, endowments, gifts, et al.
How much do tickets cost? Still $1 or is it $2 or more?
I missed buying tickets Wednesday, plan on buying some tomorrow. I buy lottery tickets once every 5 or 10 years.
$2 per ticket, @bookmom7. I had one Wednesday (first one in a year probably), obviously no luck or I would be too busy to chat with my CC friends today! One for tomorrow night.
When is the drawing? I thought I missed my chance!
Tomorrow evening.
Ok!
Tempted to play but have never done it before. Like marine longhorn I appreciate all in my state who do since the lottery money in my state paid for my D’s college scholarship.
I buy tickets when the jackpot is big. but usually only one. I read online that statistics say that Pa is a good place to buy a ticket…maybe I will take a ride the Philly tomorrow
It’s an obscene amount of money to win, so when I * DO * , I pledge to give 90% of it away
Perhaps I should splurge on a ticket. Have never played the lottery before.
Almost a billion dollars! I win the mother of the year award. I pumped gas and sent my newly 18 year old son in to purchase a ticket. They did not check his i.d. even though I think he could still be pictured on a Pampers box. If I win I will donate a building to a tippy top university so my kids can attend as development cases.
And I won’t have to fill out the FAFSA.
