Powered Recliner sofa - any recommendations? Thoughts?

We have a manual recliner sofa and loveseat. A couple of the recliners have been busted for a few years now - so we went looking for a replacement this weekend.

We liked the power recliners, also with head rest options. We saw a few with lumbar support but that didn’t feel essential to us. I liked the consoles that some of the units had, but it seemed difficult to find that with the recliner sofas (more common with loveseats). We are debating just getting two sofas instead of a loveseat and a sofa.

If you have these, what brand do you have? Would you recommend this brand? We saw a few (Futura, made in China and Southern Motion made in the US, to name a couple). H really wants the recliner to go almost flat like a bed.

See if any have battery back up. They are especially important as you age. I can tell you stories of my moonlighting clients who got stuck in their recliners during powers failures.

We have Lazy Boy couch. Super comfy

Battery pack but would be better if plugged in continuously but it’s in middle of room and not near an outlet. Not totally flat for sleeping but does lean very far back.
We tried out a bunch on a furniture search but kept coming back to Lazy Boy because of the comfort.

And it fit the budget better.

How about buying at Costco so you have a great return option if there are issues?

We have a leather power recliner. All 3 seats are automated $500 for middle seat extra. Purchased at Dania Furniture.
Verona Leather Sofa 76"W X 37"D X43"H Palermo leather–color a saddle tone.
This was 5 years ago during an annual sale. Vender: Montebello made in USA.

Wearing well and comfortable/stylish.

I considered power reclining sofa seats briefly but- a battery backup is very limited in the event of a power failure. Think winter storms or summer hurricanes (we retired to Tampa). Have had many recliners by LazyBoy- several currently- and finally replaced my more than 35 year old powder blue one that was my first major purchase. Preferred the bar on the side but the available options only had the little side thing to pull and leg power to get back upright. I dislike doing that- and did not like it with another brand at H’s sister’s place. It was nice to put a sofa closer to a wall, however.

I am using Mecor power lift recliner chair which is highly comfortable for sitting and relaxation. I bought it two months ago . I sleep on it and work sitting on it.
