4 days left for the sat. I havent started studying for chemistry as yet. I am in depression mode now. Can any1 please tell me which book to study from in the last few days? Princeton is apparently the shortest but is it enough? or is spark notes better? or is there any other book i can do in 4 days? Help Please.

PR, no doubt. It has everything you need. Concise and effective. You can get through it quickly, especially if you review only the concepts you need to review.

GoldShadow thanks. But do u think its good enough for 800?

Depends on how good you are at chemistry and your background. I used PR to study after taking only honors chem and got 760.

Thanks. Any1 Else?

i think you should use mcgraw-hill’s.

it’s the best thing you can use if you don’t have time for barron’s. it’s full of mnemonics, good diagrams, and easy explanations.

go through both the review books and see if you know everything
You can’t do Barron’s 'cause you don’t have enough time but I think you should look through MCGrawHills and PR

With only 4 days to prep I would just work through the PR book and not be hanging out on here! Seriously, though. You won’t know if you can hit a high score if you haven’t done the review and at least one test.

Thanks guys

I think i might give chem in Jan now. i thought my sat 2s didnt go well so i decided on doing on chem. However, they turned out to be decent. 2c 800, Physics 780. May be not great but decent. Plus the only uni which needs 3 sat 2s is Yale so i can afford to give it in jan now.

Probably will end up doing Barrons then :)
