<p>If you look through my post history, you’ll find around 5-6 threads asking for people to grade my essay. Most were duly harsh, and I usually received around a 7 or an 8 (only one exception comes to mind). On the October SAT, I was sure that the essay I wrote was far worse than any I had ever written for any of the practice tests I had done. However, I got an 11. </p>

<p>It is a good idea to post your essay in this forum, because others can give you useful insight and tips into how you could improve, but the graders are often too harsh.</p>

<p>Agreed, graders of my essays usually gave me somewhere between 8-10. I got a 12 on the essay in October.</p>

<p>Seriously, my essay was very bad. I can’t stress that enough. I wrote about Putin in an example that was extremely nonsensical and I ran out of ideas so I incorrectly referenced Mean Girls. I seriously can’t stress how bad my essay was. I’ll post it when it gets put up in my score report. It would probably merit around a 6 or 7 by CC graders’ standards.</p>
