I have the college board practice SAT study book with the 10 practice tests. Well I just took one of the full length tests and timed myself and my final score was around a 1910. Is this a good score? And are the practice tests a good determination of what my ACTUAL test score will be?

I’m hoping to get into a good private university. My first choice is George Washington. Would a score like this give me a good chance of getting in and hopefully with scholarships?

Yes, 1910 is a good score. But remember to consider where you want to go to college. If you are looking at a Top 20 University, then a 1910 is low. If you are going for a state university, then a 1910 is sufficient. I would recommend that you go on the College Board book owner’s section on their website, and get all the explanations to every answer to every practice test in the blue book. That way, your score will improve from test to test. I will not be surprised if you end up with a 2100+ by the time you complete all of the tests.

Since you are going for a private university, a 1910 is low. The blue book tests are a great indication of how you will do on the actual test.

where can find the explanations for the blue book? And can you give me instructions on how to get there? also are the explanations free? And can i find any explanations for the FIRST edition blue book?

If that was your first experience with the SAT, you’re in good shape. After going through the rest of the Blue Book tests and analyzing your mistakes, you should be able to hit close to 2100. Good luck!

where can i find the explanations exactly?? are they free? and are there explanations for the first edidtion as well?

I just found them. Look in your book and it should give you the exact url but if you have signed up with an account on collegeboard.com you should be able to go to [Welcome to the Official SAT Study Guide Book Owner’s Area](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>SAT Study Guide – SAT Suite | College Board)

Just flip in your book to the practice tests and enter that. Then navigate to the test you want. I just started using that today thanks to firered, but thanks for the suggestions everyone! I’m really hoping I can make 2100. Do you think about 30 minutes a day and then a full practice test every weekend is enough practice?
