If you take a gap year and get accepted into a school early action, would it be against the rules to train with the schools sports team before the school year starts? Since the student wouldn’t be in school at the time.
I do not have personal experience with this but would assume that for a whole host of reasons - everything from insurance and liability to preventing schools from discouraging students from enrolling so they could practice for an extra year - that only an enrolled, tuition -paying student can practice with a team.
