<p>So I messed up pretty bad and only applied to 3 summer programs. I got rejected from 2 and am waiting on another one.
I’m considering my backups now. Which looks better: creating an internship by going to a nearby university (GA Tech) or doing the Syracuse University program thing for 6 weeks.

does sci research at a university look “typical”? i’m guessing my 2-3 week program that i’m hoping to get wont be enough, but if i did sci research in addition to this, would it be better?
