What are the best Pre-Law Degress

Let’s put it this way: the worst Pre-Law degree is a “Pre-Law” degree.

Major in something that you’re interested in, and will make you think critically… and do well in it! Oh yeah, and ace the LSAT.

Agreed with the first poster. Avoid any degree that outright deals with “Pre-Law”. I once heard a law professor tell us that the problem with pre-law degrees is that he has to then work that much harder convincing a law student that he doesn’t know everything about law because he was a ‘pre-law’ major. Anything really analytical will prepare you well for law school, or so I’m told. Mathematics, physics, and philosophy are especially useful for strengthening your analytical skills which will come in handy on the LSAT and in law school. Otherwise, take something you enjoy. History, English, Political Science or any other humanities/social science program will give you just as much of an edge as a run-of-the-mill ‘pre-law’ degree.
