Pre Med at NYU (Freshman)

Any tips for freshman pre med student at NYU?

Try to get a research spot at Lagone. Also, form good connections with the professors. The NYU professors are great and many of them have written their own textbooks. Watch out for General Biology. That class usually has over 700+ kids in it. It’s huge.

Make sure you put in the necessary effort to get good grades in your classes. With the size of the lectures, it’s easy to slack off and plenty of people just skip out on them. Go to class and complete assignment on or ahead of time and you shouldn’t become one of the many who give up on pre-med after one semester.

Thanks everyone for your responses! Any tips on how to study for the bio class? For some reason, everyone complains about that course.
