Pre-med at temple?

<p>I’m having a difficult time making a choice between Temple U or USP [University of Science in Phila]. Which would be a better choice for Pre-med?</p>

<p>i would def go for temple for several reasons

  1. usp is primarily pharmacy. granted, they have the “premed” major, but most of your classmates will be pharm, so the guidance might not be as tailored to premeds
  2. temple is cheap! med school is expensive! also, temple med school is opening up more spots in its freshman class in the next few years, and they plan on reserving 50 or so exclusively for temple undergrads
  3. temple honors is way way way better than usp’s barely existant honors
  4. temple is bigger = more resources = more research if you want to go that route (which is important for med school)</p>
