When did anyone say there IS a happy medium? Unless you think not taking one class, math3c, is a happy medium.

Why do you ask subjective questions thinking we’ll give an objective answer? You’re supposed to figure out your own happy medium. Get yourself together!

if you’re premed, the so called “happy medium” is maximizing your gpa. there are no classes at the undergrad level that will even remotely prepare you for med school, and aside from the above listed classes, none will help much for the MCAT. kinda sucks that you shun away from classes you kinda have an interest in but are gpa downers, but that’s the sad reality of being in this system.

i can’t find them either and its bothering me :[

The general grade trend for me is that I get better grades as the difficulty of the class gets harder. There has only been ONE single exception to this, which was eng comp 3 with fallows, which I did well in, and it was easy. LOL.

I think none of us will have an answer to the OP’s question because it was poorly asked. All I have to say is that you should enjoy all the classes you take as a premed, minus math for me… hate math, and not have to think of it as a torturous experience that you have to go through that will lead you to your chosen profession. Sooner or later you’re going to realize that it doesn’t end at after premed classes along with MCATs and what not, you still have actual med…with your USMLE steps, then internship/residency, and possibly fellowship to get your boards. TONS of stuff to do, so either love it now, or hate yourself later.

I strongly doubt(read, know) that you need to know anything about SN1 and SN2 reactions in Med school. It’s perfectly fine to hate your Premed classes, most of it you will never see again.

And to the OP, take an MCAT prep course and stop worrying about how your classes will prepare you for the MCAT. If you’re anything like a normal student, you’ll have long forgotten it all by the time you actually take the test.

que es OP?
