i’m trying to sign up for the recommend english courses necessary for any pre-med student for my upcoming third undergrad year. unfortunately, i’m not sure which courses validate as “english courses” as is recommended by many medical schools. i’d like to take some interesting courses like “philosophy of the mind” and other russian lit courses, but am hesitant to do so because i’m not sure whether or not they meet the requirements. does anyone know what exactly constitutes an english course?

I suppose if it’s part of your school’s english department it counts as an english course.

usually, anything offered by the english department is fine.
