Pre-med Struggles

Seconding the above quote: when you graduate hs, you’ll be 18ish, 4 years of college makes you 22ish. If your strategy/plan is to go to college for 4 years then start med school in summer after graduating, understand that the application process would begin in summer after your junior year, meaning that you would need to have a competitive application by then. For example, besides academic demands (GPAs), med school related EC activities, a social life, etc, etc., you would need a MCAT score. You may need to stick in 2 months of dedicated time prepping for MCAT. As the average age of med school applicants is 24/25, you may want to consider slowing down and not be so focused/stressed out about med school from day one of college. You may find other non med school interests along the way. If your dead set on med school, plan for gap years… med school will still be there. Good luck!
