<p>ba/md is guaranteed acceptance into med school as long as u maintain a certain gpa and get a certain mcat score (some programs waive the mcats). Pre-med is just a ton of stress and its not guaranteed.</p>

<p>pre-med can be any major. All pre-med means is that you have to take certain required classes such as bio, chem, organic chem, and a few others. But u can major in anything else like english or history or whatever.</p>
