Pre Mjr (a&s)

Major:PRE MJR (A&S)
what is this supposed to mean?
I applied for business but does this mean I was rejected from the business school?

No. Most of the accepted freshmen have a pre-major designation under the ‘Major’ slot. It essentially means that you have a few prerequisites to fulfill before applying for your intended major. I believe (A&S) would be the College of Arts and Sciences, so I’m not sure how that correlates with your intent to major in business. But nonetheless, you haven’t been rejected from anywhere. And you didn’t really apply for business, but simply indicated your preference for a major.

mine says pre-science
i applied for psych first, bio second so idk

Me too, I applied for Economics but the unofficial transcript says that my major is Pre Social Science (A&S). Does anyone know what this means?

Econ major has prereqs: Stats, Econ 200 and 210 and a calculus class. They will not admit you without those.

I aplied to econ&math, and the offer appeared to be “A&S” pre-social science too. On the school website you can find that econ is a brached major of pre-social science.

Also, one of my friends got the offer from pre-mjr, but we can not find out any details about it. Anyone helps??
