<p>Well, Duke doesn’t have any pre-professional degrees (no pre-med degree, etc etc.), so you can certainly major in whatever you want. We do, however, have plenty of advisers who will help you figure our what courses are best suited for what you want to do, AND will help you through the application process. I almost think this is a better situation because you’ll still have a fine time getting into school for optometry, but you’ll get to really explore your academic interests as well.</p>
