<p>I listed “Pre-Professional Dental” on my NYU supplement for “Anticipated Major Field of Study.” </p>
<p>Do students who list this as their major graduate with a degree titled as such? Because that would not look very good in a job market if that student happens to not be accepted to any dental schools. </p>
<p>Or is that title just information that lets NYU know what kind of path I want to pursue, and I will be able to declare a more suitable major like Biology or Biochemistry. </p>
<p>Does anyone know if NYU feeds its own dental school?</p>

<p>In addition, I applied to CAS, do majors come into consideration when accepting or denying students at NYU undergrad? For example, there are a certain number of slots for an intended major, and once that is up, there is a cut-off?</p>
