Pre-screen recommendations

We did S’s dance and song/monologues (live accompanist) using a iPad fastened to a cameral tripod using this awesome gizmo called a “caddiebuddie” (my spelling is suspect). The bracket fits perfectly to the iPod - even with protective cover - and can be “aimed/tilted” in any direction. Can also be mounted on a table ledge or whatever. The inventor designed it for golfers who want to analyze their golf swings, pitchers who want to analyze their throws, etc - BUT it works awesomely for the theatre, music and dance inclined. I even used it for a choir concert - tastefully perched off to the side of the auditorium.
We also got a digital recorder that we used to record the sound “just in case”, but the iPad /tripod worked fine - he passed both prescreens. Figured we’ll use the digital sound recorder for entering singing competitions. I have a feeling there will be MANY more uses for these devices in the future. . .
