UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

Remember to focus on your essays!!! I am just calculating this based on your GPA and ACT/SAT scores, not your essays.

USC: I’m thinking you’d get accepted. Your GPA and ACT scores are in there average range.

Northeastern: I’d say you get either waitlisted or accepted. Your GPA is a little lower than the average, but your ACT is very high for the school.

Tufts: It’s between rejected and waitlisted for me. The average GPA for Tufts is a 4.06 (according to Prepscholar), which rules out yours. The average SAT for that school is a little high. Your ACT score is very high for this school, which is a bonus.

Emory: I say you get accepted into Emory. Your GPA matches their average. Your ACT score is well above their average. You have a very good chance of getting in.

NYU: Based on my calculations, you get accepted into NYU. Your GPA and ACT are much higher than their average.

Boston University: You will definitely get accepted to Boston. Both your GPA and ACT are a lot higher than their average.

Northwestern: Sorry to say, but I believe you will get rejected from Northwestern. Their GPA average is a 4.11, which rules out yours by a lot. Your ACT scores rules out their average, but that probably won’t help you. Focus more on your essays for this school.

UCLA: I think you’ll get either rejected or waitlisted. The GPA average for UCLA is a 4.29, much higher than yours. Your ACT score rules out theirs.

UCB: I say you get waitlisted. Your in their range for GPA, and your ACT rules out theirs.

UCSB: You will DEFINITELY get accepted here. Your GPA and ACT/SAT rules out theirs by a LOT.

Remember to keep doing what your doing and focus on your essays!! This is ALL based on my opinion, and all this might be wrong.
Good Luck!!!

my calculated UC GPA is a 4.04…my high school grades very strangely so my GPA looks lower than it would be because honors courses are out of 4.3 rather than 5.0

thank you! also as a note my high school grades very strangely so my GPA looks lower than it would be; honors courses are out of 4.3 rather than 5.0.

UCSB: Match- Accept
USC: High Match- Waitlist/Accept
UCLA/UCB: Low Reach- Waitlist and/or Reject

You are competitive applicant based on your stats. I will probably come down to your EC’s and essays which are hard to quantify. Good Luck.
