<p>I was wondering if any of you know of any research or academic programs along the lines of RSI and Telluride or internships such as NASA SHARP offered to undergraduate freshman/sophomore or students about to enter college?
I don’t think I’ve heard of any but I’m really interested to know if they have these after high school. Anyone?</p>

<p>Try checking with your local community college. Last year, my son found an opportunity to work on a NSF-funded project at our CC during the summer between HS and college.</p>
<p>petersons.com is a good source for all sorts of summer opportunities</p>
<p>also check on specific college websites…many of them offer some sort of pre-frosh college programs</p>
<p>your school might offer something, or you could take required classes you know you’ll get credit for at a CC or something</p>
