There’s kind of a vague description of it, and a couple examples of what we can do, for the prelude program in August. Does anyone know more about it, or have an opinion about whether or not to pursue doing it?

Depends on where you are. If you’re going far away from your friends and family, I say you spend as much time as you can before you leave. If you’re somewhat close (at the very most 4 hours away), then I guess it’d be an opportunity to get ahead on your core classes and such.

I know a few people who did it, but a lot of people who, once they arrived on campus decided not to do them. I doubt they’d benefit you that much - I didn’t do one because the interesting ones filled up fast, but if you got into an interesting one it could be a chance to meet professors or other students.
