Premed advice

I am CA resident planning premed track
Which uc’s donot have grade deflation(undergrad GPA will matter for premed)? . Which out of state small liberal arts private colleges should I consider for premed?Any public OOS recommended for premed ?

All the UC’s will be competitive for a student interested in pursuing “Pre-Med” but going to a UC where your academic stats are above the averages could help you maintain a good GPA for Medical school.

What are your 3 UC GPA’s (unweighted, capped weighted and fully weighted)? Test scores? HS course rigor? Intended major?

What is your Undergrad budget?

In general you need a place where you can thrive as student–academically, socially and personally. Medical schools are looking for students who are not just top students academically, but also interesting, well rounded individuals with specific social competencies and leadership skills.

If you would like, search “The 25 Best Colleges for Pre-meds,” in which Bowdoin, Bates, Bryn Mawr, Swarthmore, Union, Carleton, Hamilton, Amherst, Middlebury, Williams, Centre and Colgate appear.
