premed and math

if you are pre-med in natural resources, what is required of you math wise?

and what are all of the core basic science requirements… how many units of physics, bio, chem

and just to put it out there, how hard would it be to double major with molecular environmental biology and some sort of language (possibly french, german)

First of all, go to http://cnr.berkeley.edu and check out the available majors under Natural Resources and figure out which majors among those, if any, truly interest you.

The core requirements for med school is:
2 semesters of calculus - Math 16 series will suffice, since most of the majors in CNR accept Math 16A/B

2 semesters of biology with lab - that’ll be Bio1A/L and Bio1B

2 semesters of general chemistry with lab - that’ll be chem1A and chem3A/L

2 semesters of organic chemistry with lab - that’ll be chem3B/L and mcb102 or mcb100 or mcb110, possibly others

(note: med schools accept chem1A and chem 3A as gen chem and chem 3B and mcb102/100/110 as ochem)

2 semesters of physics (8 series minimum)

some english classes would be good too. if you take R&C, those will definitely cover it.
