Premed at Princeton

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>Well, ya I visited Princeton a few weeks ago and was completely and utterly stunned by the campus’s beauty! However, I kinda was left to wonder it if Princeton premed has any advantages as opposed to a state school like OU. I know Princeton is crazy prestigious, but it comes with a large price tag for my upper-middle class family whereas OU would give national merit scholars a TON of money with research stipends. I like OU too…but to a lesser extent. So, would it be worth it to try for Princeton (or Princeton peer schools) and if I get in attend there or go for the frugal option and go 2 one of those state schools.</p>

<p>No advantage whatsoever, except our premed office is very organized and helpful (SDN is just as good though).</p>

<p>You’ll feel the pang of grade deflation though.</p>
