Premed: Going Out of Your Way to Take Harder Classes?

Alright, I am a student at UPenn and I am also considering medicine. I have started to register for classes and a problem has come up. There are two introductory biology classes offered by my school. One is extremely difficult. Only 10% of the class gets A’s in it and the questions on these exams are often ambiguous. The other class would be fairly easy. I know I would get an A in it. So, is there any real reason to take the harder biology class offered?

Nope. Unless you really want to do it because you think it’d be fun or interesting. Adcoms aren’t likely to care much.
