What is considered average and decent GPA for Premed students? I was a straight A’s student at my high school, but I know that college will be much harder. I’d just like to have a heads up so I’m not freaking out over a B.

I would say not to drop below a 3.5 GPA, anything over a 3.7 will make you fairly competitive, and 3.90+ is definitely not unheard of if you put your mind to it.

Also depends on your major, Engineering is harder than some other majors, although not always will give you a lower GPA, they are known to have lower GPA’s but not a big difference like 3.7 and 3.4 no it’s more going to close like 3.7 and 3.6

At least that’s what I heard from current students.
