I know this has been asked a bunch of times, but for the sake of consolidation and a wider range of opinions…

What do you guys think of…

Barron’s SAT 06-07: Does it have realistic test questions? Good strategies? Any particular section it is really helpful in?

Gruber’s SAT: I heard this book is really good for reviewing math. Anything else? Are the practice tests realistic?

McGraw-Hill: Are the flashcards helpful? I am planning on using this book for writing…Is there any other section I should pay particularly close attention to? Are the practice tests realistic?

Princeton SAT: I hate the Joe Bloggs method. I find it utterly pointless…But, is there any other section that’s good? At the very least, are the test questions realistic?

Kaplan’s Writing Workbook: Useful? Realistic? Was it this book or Kaplan 2400 that is supposed to be fantastic for grammar?

Barron’s Verbal Workbook (Old)/Barron’s Critical Reading Workbook (New): My main concern is whether this book is realistic or not…Barron’s always has a reputation for being too hard. Are the strategies helpful?

Kaplan’s 12 SATs: My experience has been that this book is too easy (hence unrealistic). Do you guys agree or…is it worth going through these tests?

Thanks everyone.
