<p>Do you think it is okay to write about topics like overcoming addiction or depression or things that might portray you to be someone that might not have ben perfectly mentally stable at one point or another in your life? </p>
<p>Completely out of curiosity as of where you guys would think the line should be drawn.</p>
<p>I think adcoms will admire your bravery and honesty to share your experience, but they may question your emotional readiness to cope in an independent BS environment</p>
<p>In one hand, it shows honesty, and strenght to overcome the odds of life, in the other I agree with GTMplus7 about questioning your emotional balance to cope with a BS</p>
