I will be taking the ACT for sure in March, and I think I will be taking the SAT in the spring (I think you can take it either in March or May; preferably May). I am just wondering how I can plan out my studying? I own Barron’s 15th Edition for the ACT, and I just ordered the red book, the official ACT prep guide. For the SAT, if I take it, I will most likely buy The Official SAT Study Guide 2nd Edition (by Collegeboard), and I was looking at Ready, SAT Go! by Jed Applerouth. That book is cheap online and supposedly it is pretty useful with a cheerful & fun theme. Maybe maybe not on that one. Anyways… If I was wondering what is a good study plan for taking the ACT in march and the SAT in may? Any tips & tricks? Any good websites to use as a supplement to the books? Thanks.

Edit- Also, is it necessary to take the SAT Subject Tests? I will be applying to UChicago, Macalester College, Michigan State, and some local schools.
