In the back of the Brown Bulletin, the thick book that lists all the courses and such, there’s a section starting on p579 that talks about “Prizes, Premiums and Honors.” The first part is for “Excellence in Preparatory Studies”, where it lists different exams given in certain subjects (Greek, Latin, Math, and a few foreign languages open only to non-native speakers). Does anyone know more about these exams, when they’re given and what exactly you win?

Where’d you get that book? Or when?

I think for the greek and latin ones, you get money/the honor of receiving a prize.

when I went to ADOCH, I went into the University Hall (I think), and they had copies available for pre-frosh.

Ah. Oh well. I’d like to see that, but I assume they’ll mail us one.

They won’t mail you the full, 2-year, thick copy, which is what I think asterstar is talking about.
