<p>The first thing you want to do is figure out if you’re actually interested in business or if you just like the job prospects. The subject is boring enough without any personal bias factored in. Intro micro/macro econ is good prep but can be misleading, business is very very different from econ. Apart from that, a good mathematical foundation is helpful if you want to be successful, especially if you’re interested in finance. If you’re looking to lean more towards the management side of things, then it’s not as important but still useful.</p>
