DS is about to have his first performance review at first professional job and I’d like him to go into it prepared. I’d like for him to demonstrate that he has reflected on what he has accomplished so far, what he has learned along the way, what he needs to improve upon, how he’d like to see the job progress, etc. Can you direct him to any meaty articles on this topic (not sure he’d sit through an entire book)? Any pearls of wisdom to share? Thanks all.

I read [this article from Inc. Magazine](http://www.inc.com/magazine/20081201/how-to-conduct-annual-employee-reviews.html) just prior to my own first Performance Review last Nov, and found it very helpful. Be sure to have your S click on the links under Related Content.

Great! Thank you. Hope yours went well.
