Soooooooo I guess it was smart to prepare for all waitlists/ rejections since that’s precisely what ended up happening

I only applied to 2 schools and I was waitlisted at Andover and rejected at Choate. It is ok to be emotional, I had a small cry yesterday and a couple of boba runs. You have all put in so much energy and heart into your applications. For me, I am trying to be positive and looking at the big picture. The boarding school application is a good experience for college apps, so your effort isn’t wasted. Look forward to four years where you will have to make a more important decision; college. Congrats everyone for making it through this process!
Just received an email from Asheville School that they are pushing back “decision date” to May 10 from “normal” April date.
Don’t know if this is going to be a trend but wanted to share in the event other schools make this decision.
