<p>So I’m taking my first ACT April 14th and I’m not exactly sure where to start. I’ve taken the SAT twice but I’ve heard it’s very different from the ACT. Should I just start by taking a practice test to judge how much I know before hand or should I just save them all? I got a 22 on my school’s PLAN test in 10th grade which said that I would score in the 26-30 range for the real thing. Does that correlate with a 1900-2000 SAT?</p>
<p>As far as materials go I have the Real ACT Prep Guide with the 5 tests; do I need anything else? Also does the Reading section have vocab and passages like the SAT or just passages? And how different is the essay from the SAT essay? </p>
