Preparing for the ACTs

hey, i was wondering what books you guys used to prepare for the ACTs. I don’t really know where to begin and i know that there definetly arent that many books out there with practice tests and stuff, like for the SATs. And i know this is probably really dumb but i read over the scoring sheet for the ACTs and it didnt say anything about deducting points for getting a question wrong…is this true …or am i really that stupid that i cant read??

Thanks!!

There is no deduction for wrong answers, so it’s to your benefit to answer all the questions.

As for the books to help you. I would recommend the Real Act Guide, or go to your local bookstore and find one. Princeton Review’s book is pretty good.

The ACT encourages guessing since points are not deducted for wrong answers.

…unlike College Board who discourages guessing.

Yah I used the Real ACT and Princeton Review.

Practice, use Princeton Review’s tricks, and you should be fine.

thanx everyone!
